Sleeping Mouse
Watercolor and Ink, 2016
This past summer I found a dead baby field mouse by my garage, when I was leaving for work one morning. The mouse appeared so vulnerable lying soaked in the rain on the cement. At the same time, he appeared content. What came of observing him was this painting, meant to give reverence to his life.
